parents to
coordinate different classes: Involves double checking emails,
following up on student absences, missing books & communication problems.
It makes it harder to respond to grading issues doing this alone.

| All 6th graders are required to take keyboarding
one quarter during the year. The 6th grade band students are pulled
out for one quarter for keyboarding - during that time they check into the
band room on Monday's after school, X block on day ones and or one lunch day
a week to continue playing so they don't forget. |

Smart Music assignments can be
done on day 2's at 2:30 for those with issues during X block by appointment in band
room & any 2nd lunch. (Mass Schedule the band room is closed during
lunch)

max - buses, food, entry fees, clinicians, sight-reading music,
attire - fund raising can bring the cost of the big festival down WE
NEED EVERY MUSICIAN |
